Delete your Smart Campus account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Smart Campus app (Android package com.smartcampuspakistan.app, listed on Google Play as Smart Campus Pakistan and published by Burhan Technologies), and what happens to your data afterwards.

Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)

  1. Open the Smart Campus app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Enter your password.
  5. Confirm.

Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out on all your devices.

Institution administrators: if you are the only administrator of your institution, the app will not let you delete your account, because that would close the whole institution's account. Email smartcampuspakistan@gmail.com instead (or use the form below and choose role "Administrator"), and we will handle the closure with you.

What is erased and what is kept

We erase

  • Your password, email address, phone number, date of birth and gender
  • Your profile photo
  • Documents you uploaded (ID and registration documents)
  • Your registration form answers
  • Extra profile details (such as blood group, religion, nationality, previous school, qualification)
  • Your push notification tokens
  • Group messages you sent, including photos and files, and your reactions
  • Your group memberships
  • Your guardian child links
  • The blocks you made

Kept by your institution

  • Your name and your institution-issued ID number
  • The school's academic and administrative records about you: enrolment, attendance, marks and results, fee records and timetable entries

These are your school's records, so the school keeps them. You can ask your school to remove them.

Kept by us

  • Activity and audit logs, kept for security for 12 months, then deleted automatically.

Timeline

  • In the app: your account is closed and your data erased straight away.
  • Web request: we check your identity first, then complete deletion within 30 days.
  • Backups: erased data disappears from our backups within 30 days.

Option 2: Request deletion from the web

Use this form if you cannot open the app (for example you lost your phone or forgot your password), or if your registration was never approved. We will contact you at the email address you give, to check that the account is yours, before we delete anything.
